The butterfly valves are widely used in piping of chemical, food, medicine, paper making, water and electricity, shipbuilding, water supply and drainage, metallurgy and energy systems, and is available for regulating and closure devices in a variety of corrosive, non - corrosive gas, liquid, semi-liquid and solid powder pipelines and containers.

VII. Operating Principle

This butterfly valve is mainly composed of valve body, stem, disc and seat, lubrication bushing, pin (can be pin-less design), manual operating device (handle or gear box). The control of medium flow and open and closure are driven and achieved by rotating the stem and the disc.

For hand lever operation, press the lever and rotate clockwise 90 degrees to close the disc and then release the lever. A targeted regulation and the medium flow will be achieved by locating the position indicator (there are 10 positioning locations between 0 ¡ã ~ 90 ¡ã)

For gear box operation, rotating the worm gear to open and close the disc to achieve targeted medium regulation and flow. The valve will be closed by clockwise rotation
