Can the soft seal gate valve be used for hot water?

We aren't recommended to use a soft seal gate valve on a hot water pipeline. The valve plate of the soft seal gate valve is covered with rubber as a whole.
If the rubber coating is easily aged in hot water for a long time, it will directly reduce the service life of the valve. Unless the rubber material is high-temperature resistant, the cost of this material will be much higher...
